IMD在中文是模内转印，模具不难做，但转印薄膜只有二家公司能够大批量稳定生产，一家在日本，一家在德国，但送膜机韩国也能生产，价格相当后半台注射机。产品设计时同一般的注射PMMA镜片设计要求相近。
